Ada at 9 Months

ACK!  Another month has gone by and I can't believe it!  This little lady is 3/4 of the way through her first year.  Inconceivable!

 Stats:
Weight: 18lb 4oz (52%)
Length: 27.8 in (57%)
Noggin: 45 cm (78%)

Things She's Doing:
She is crawling all over the place - she is definitely a pro and she is VERY fast!
Pulling up on anything and everything, even if it's moving - including the sliding door.
Taking a few steps while holding on to people or things.
Eating, eating, eating all the time. She does a very good job of feeding herself when I give her finger foods.
Drinking from a sippy cup...when she feels like it.
Grabbing at everything - you have to be careful if you have a food, drink, or electronic device anywhere near her!
Consistently sleeping through the night.
Clapping and trying to wave.

Things She Loves:
It seems redundant but once again I have to say - her siblings.  She lights up when she sees them.  They are so rough and tumble with her and she just rolls with it - literally sometimes.
Daddy - when he comes home she can't wait to be in his arms.  She lights up when she sees him.
Naptime - she is usually really good about laying down when she is tired.  She just settles down and lets me put a blanket over her.
Being outside.

Things to Remember:
She is much improved since getting ear tubes but still plays with her ears.  I think it's just a leftover habit from all the infections.
People always comment on how happy and laid-back she is and it is true, she is a very happy girl.
Her smile is so truly wonderful.
Her hair is still reddish and her eyes are still blue.

She is so wonderful.
It is a blessing to watch her grow and thrive.
I love her so, so much.
