All Packed Up?

The boys got new backpacks today. They made it in time for our trip - wahoo! Since they have arrived the kids have been packing and unpacking them with anything and everything they can get their sticky little paws on. Alayna even pulled hers out of the closet where it has been sitting since I cleaned it out on the last day of school.

Right now Alayna says she has raspberry creams (cookie cutter), a camera (link-a-doo), a computer (Calvin and Hobbes book) and a computer cord (pencil).

Jacob has a real dog (toy dog), a toy frisbee (teething toy) and a toy truck which is actually a toy truck.

James has a "camera" which is really a harmonica.

Speaking of imagination - I've been thinking about getting rid of about half our toys. Days like today I'm pretty sure that they'd be just fine. Sometimes I wonder if they would even notice.

Sweet, fun, imaginative. When you were little I used to pack up a bunch of your toys and stash them away for several months, hten rotate them back out. It was like new without being new, brought up old memories, and created new ones...cuts down on spending too..
