Things She's Doing:
Growing! I wasn't surprised by her length at all - she is noticeably taller (longer?) to me lately. Her feet are starting to stick out of her carseat.
Sleeping a lot again. Hmm...maybe this is because of the growth.
Grabbing absolutely anything within reach - including hair. Ouch!
Still sleeping in our room. I'm not ready to let her go.
Holding her arms up to be picked up. I love it!
Sitting for fairly long stretches unassisted.
Things She Loves:
Laughing at the Goof Troop - especially the boys.
Being an airplane in Daddy's strong arms.
Rocking with mom.
Laying on her side - it's her preferred way to sleep.
Chewing on anything she can grab.
FOOD! She LOVES to eat food. She just had yogurt and it was a hit!
Walks in the stroller.
Baths - especially when she gets to share them with a sibling.
Things to Remember:
Her hair is finally starting to come in. I love twirling it around.
She has her 4th ear infection (happy half-birthday!) and will be seeing the ENT soon.
Whenever she grabs something we say "ADA! You can't ________." For example, if she grabbed a book Alayna might say "ADA! You can't read!" Or, when she grabbed a bottle of syrup off the table we said "ADA! You can't eat PANCAKES!" It doesn't sound that funny here but it's funny to us. Pretty soon though she will be able to do many of the things we're telling her she can't do. This girl is growing up too fast!
Her newest trick:
Giving high fives!
Alayna says: Ada is cute!
Jacob says: Ada can talk!
James says: Ada is fun and happy.
Layne says: Ada is growing too fast.
I say: Ada is oh-so-wonderful.

She is beautiful....and lovely.. what a dear dear face. And yes growing soooo fast.
She is wonderful!! It will be good to see her again soon.
She can. not. be. six. months. How did that happen?? She is darling! It sounds like you are enjoying every second with her.
